Xerrada amb Timothy Williamson Catedràtic Wykeham emèrit de Lògica a la Universitat d’Oxford
Imagining is often regarded as something one does in the privacy of one’s own head, and as concerned with fiction rather than fact. In this talk, I will argue for a contrary view. The primary function of the imagination is cognitive, to enable us to discover aspects of the real world, and this function is often best served by a group imagining together, as a social event, rather than by individuals doing it in isolation.
